Can I set up MagicJack to call forwarding to my cell phone free of charge?

A friend from Canada and I (from California)talk on the phone constantly and have decent cell phone plans for it. We both just got the MagicJack and set our numbers up. We both have 916 (Sacramento) area code numbers. Can we both set up our MagicJacks to call forward to our cell numbers and be free of any expenses from our cellular providers and MagicJack? If I can just call her 916 number and have it call her cell in Canada while it's considered JUST a domestic call to my cellular service, then I am stoked. Any answers are much appreciated.
