My parakeet has a rock stuck in his throat.?

I think my parkeet has swallowed a rock and it has lodged into his throat. He is NOT choking, but will not eat anything and keeps on making neck movements that look like he is trying to force something down his throat. He had been biting small pebbles earlier today. Is there a way to induce vomiting? Help!!
