Get asked if I am Gay a lot (Girls/Guys HELP)?

So here is a little about me. I live in Los Angeles. I have been an athlete my entire life. I love sports, I surf, I skateboard, I snowboard. I have tattoo's that stretch from shoulders to my wrist on both arms, entire back and both rib cages. I am very artistic. I paint, draw, sculp you name it and I dig doing it. I have dated girls before but that was more of an arm candy thing living the lie and life that others wanted for me. Well it seems to happen a lot more than usual these days but I have had friends of friends ask me if I was Gay. I have had strangers both male and female ask me if I was Gay. I have had guys come up and start hitting on me. What do they see that I don't? Are they picking me up on their Gaydar?
