I have 5 years IT experience and a Top Secret/SCI clearance. How do i continue in the IT field?

I have spent 5 years as an IT in the Navy and mostly did help desk and sys admin. I was wondering what is going to be the easiest way to continue in the IT field. I am looking into getting my certifications but need a starting point. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am in Ventura County CA if that helps any. Thanks for the help!
