Lilies on a wedding cake (will they wilt?)?

I am getting married in July and I want to have a pink lily theme. I would like fresh lilies on the cake but lilies are so sensitive I am afraid they will wilt and get gross on the cake. Is there a way to make sure they will stay beautiful until we cut the cake? our reception hall is airconditioned
